About The Cinema Shop

The Cinema Shop is a small, family-run business launched in 2024 as the professional branch of Camping Cinema.
While Camping Cinema caters to personal use in gardens and holidays, The Cinema Shop focuses on robust, ready-to-go Portable Cinema Kits for business, education, special needs, churches, charities, community spaces, and even the MoD.

People want the magic of cinema and the power of multimedia – without the cost, complexity, or an AV crew.

Meet Claire & Andy

Meet the Team

Andy served 23 years in the Royal Navy as a Chief Weapons Engineer, specialising in Fire Control Systems.
He later became an Integrated Circuit (Chip) Designer with Motorola, and is also a qualified electrician and skilled carpenter.
He’s happiest in the workshop, solving problems and building things that last.

Claire brings the communication, creativity, and ideas – and (rightfully) calls the shots!
She’s passionate about people, community, and making sure every client feels supported and understood.

Together, we’re committed to building high-quality kits and offering the kind of service we’d want ourselves.
